Heavy-Duty Johnson Bars and Pry Levers for Load Positioning
Heavy-duty Johnson bars and pry levers give dock workers, riggers, freight handlers, movers, and maintenance teams the leverage needed to get underneath heavy loads for positioning and transport. Also called leverage bars or J bars, these tools help lift one edge of a load so it can be moved with a fork truck, hand truck, pallet truck, machinery mover, or other handling equipment.
Beveled Nose Plate for Load Access
A thick steel nose plate with a beveled edge helps the operator work the bar under heavy objects with less effort. The usable nose plate provides a strong contact point for raising equipment, crates, machinery, furniture, and freight enough to place rollers, dollies, forks, or other moving devices underneath.
Wood and Steel Handle Options
This family includes wood handle models with 4,250 lb. capacity and all-steel models with 5,000 lb. capacity. Bar lengths range from approximately 60 inches to 84 inches, giving users options for different leverage needs and working conditions.
Rolling Support for Controlled Movement
Two 5 inch by 2 inch poly-on-steel wheels provide a strong rolling base during use. Steel models feature welded nose plates and a baked-in powder coat finish for added toughness. These pry-lever bars offer a practical, durable solution for safer lifting, load shifting, and heavy object positioning.
